Sponsored by LIT – Greg Neri Author Visit Nov. 19
On Tuesday, Nov. 19, author Greg Neri visited with all of Belmont’s middle school students. All students had read Neri’s award-winning graphic novel, Yummy, in preparation for the author’s visit with their ELA classes.
Mr. Neri, who visited Passages’ Bridges site before Yummy’s publication, presented a talk about the graphic novel. After his first presentation he engaged in a lively dialogue with students on their questions and perspectives on Yummy’s life and death. The middle school placement group were very excited to share a pizza luncheon with the author and proved themselves to be outstanding participants.
